Yup. I used it for that last night. Ate something that started the foamies and generally upset my tummy. I felt SO much better after having some tea. Susan

I think I'll be drinking it a lot at night too. It's so calming...not just on the tummy, but just on the soul. I know it helped me sleep great last night. Susan

My favorite by far is orange rind tea. EVerytime hubby and I eat seafood, I have a cup of orange tea. Real good and helps digest everything. Peppermint is nice too.

I don't think I've ever tried orange rind tea. I'll have to look for that. I have had some orange teas before, but not that one. Thanks for the suggestion! Susan

Not only good for people...I used to give a little peppermint tea in warm milk to my German Shepherd when he was out of sorts. He loved it and it seemed to settle his insides. What a great dog he was...it's been years and I still miss him. Speaking of tea, anyone know the best way to store loose tea? Would you freeze this, as with coffee? A local gourment coffee shop recently changed hands and now sells a nice selection of gourmet teas as well. I bought two recently - am sipping on almond tea now and it's lovely! I haven't tried the plum pear yet, but doesn't that sound nice? Anyhow, they gave them to me in small brown bags, like the coffees usually come in and I was wondering the best way of keeping them. I come from a long line of tea drinking Irishwomen, all of whom knew that tea will cure just about anything that ails the body or soul Lisa

Sorry Lisa, I don't know much about storing teas. I have to admit, my sons and I are big time hot tea lovers, so once it's opened, it's gone in a fairly short amount of time. I would think you could put it in the freezer like coffee. You could always ask the shop where you buy them about the best way to preserve the flavor. And, when you do find out, would you pass it along?? Susan

Also, I am never without peppermint essential oil in the home. If I am having a reaction to something and can't get any air in, or even if I am just really congested and can't breath right, I will put a drop or two of oil in hot tap water quickly and inhale the steam. It always helps tremendously. Lisa
