Ok I have always liked tea but since WLS I have found that nothing makes fluids go down faster then a warm cup of tea ( I can practically down it ). So I have been a tea flavor trying fool lately. I ran across a couple yummy ones worth mentioning. If you have a favorite brand or flavor post it. I am always game for a try of new goodie tea!! Oh and I like it plain plain plain. No sugar added. No cream added. Nada. I got all of these from Walmart. Not adventurous in my shopping lol but the good stuff is just to far across town to go get unless I have other things to get over there lol. :: LOVES :: Lipton Great Tea with Mandarin Orange Flavor ( this is one of those in the new triangle bags) Tazo Chai Organic Spiced Black Tea ( OMG I just got this one and I am so in love!!) Lipton Green Tea Lemon Ginseng Lipton Herbal Caffeine Free Peppermint ( awesome when the tummy is being cranky ) Lipton Black Pearl ( this is one of those in the new triangle bags) :: OK but would not buy again :: Lipton Green Tea Mixed Berry Lipton Black Tea French Vanilla Lipton White Tea with Island Mango & Peach ( this is one of those in the new triangle bags) Lipton Herbal Caffeine Free Mango Lipton Bavarian Wild Berry ( this is one of those in the new triangle bags) Lipton Black Tea Spiced Chai Oh and speaking of tea... I keep all my tea bags in those utility boxes that are clear with the dividers. Works GREAT for keeping them fresh and organized with out having a ton of those darn boxes all over the place lol. So what about you guys? Any one a tea drinker? If you are what brands do you like? *huggles* Felicia

I love tea too Felicia...and coffee. I drink just the plain decaf so far. No milk, no splenda. Haven't really tried any flavored teas. But, I do love flavored decaf coffees. Susan

I like my tea plain but my coffee has to be doctored lmaooo splenda and half n half are a must *grin* and full lead. I love flavored coffee syrups but for as little as I drink it, it tends to be such a waste so I just use extracts lol. *huggles* Felicia

I told you we were twins!! I have to have splenda and cream in my coffee. I buy the Gevalia coffees - regular and flavored. Gotta have my GOOD coffee. They make good teas too. But, I'm just as happy with the teas from the grocery store so I usually buy those to keep the grocery bill in check. But, my tea, I usually drink plain. Sometimes I'll add a bit of milk and splenda, but not usually. Susan

I was a huge coffee addict prior to surgery. We have a place here in Canada called Tim Hortons and they make the best coffee ever!!! I would always have a large decafe with 2 cream. I got at least one every day and it was usually two. My taste buds have change greatly and while I still like coffee, I am no longer "in love" with coffee. I have been drinking a lot of iced tea and some hot tea. I used to only drink it when I was sick but now it is the main portion of my liquids. I am actually enjoying a large glass of peached iced tea from Crystal Lite. I know it is not the same as real tea but it does the job in a pinch. My favourite hot tea is Teatly Earl Gray decafe followed by Teatly Green Decafe. Have a great night and enjoy the brew! Tara

I am not sure I was ever in love with it ( as I wouldn't die if I didn't get it in a day lol ) but I do love my morning coffee in the sense that I just love to have something warm to sip on in the mornings and it is usually coffee lol. But I am learning to love tea. It goes down so well that its like either like it and use it as its working or struggle to ge****er down lol. Thanks for the tea tips. I will see if I can find those!! *huggles* Felicia =)

Good gravy those sound good!!!!!!! I didn't see them yesterday but darn it I didn't look that close either. I will ( if I can shovel out lol ) look for them the next time I am at the store. I LOVE candy cane flavor of anything!!!!! I used to just love it to stir my drinks with it hahahaha. I think half the joy of drinking tea is just smelling it lol. Thanks for the tea tips! *huggles* Felicia =)

I used to LOVE tea but have not really tried much since surgery. One of my favorites is Constant Comment. It is an orange pekoe and it is fantastic! I am going to have to try different ones now as my brother sent me a HUGE collector box of tea for Christmas. UGH! There are so many different flavors. They are all Celestial Seasonings. I used to buy and drink a ton of it when I lived in CO. The Celestial Seasonings factory is in Boulder, CO and it is a really fun place to visit. You can litterally buy any tea that they make and they have a tasting room that you can try any kind you want before you buy. It is great. I do love a cup of hot tea when I go out to eat so I think I might have to try it. What a great thing to do this morning! YAY!!! I used to love coffee but since surgery it is not so much my friend anymore. I am a big one with a little milk in it with a little splenda or S&L. I willl have to try the mandarin orange one. Silly I know but I was looking for a good excuse to try the new triangle ones. They look so neat. They have them in a restaurant here at the Embassy Suites (different brand though) and it is just a fun twist on the tea. Thanks for the idea and the advice. Especially the chai....I so used to LOVE a chai from starbucks...but they are WAY sugary and I am staying away from it! Have to be a good girl and get off this plateau. UGH!! I will have to share with everyone what teas are good out of this box. Hugs, Melissa

Warm tea takes the foamies away with a snap of a finger for me. Or anytime my tummy is just being cranky I just have some warm tea and its alllllllllllll better lol. Its my quick fix lol. Ok have to plan a trip to Boulder. I wanna see that!! My favorite Chai is the one with the milk and sugar in it but I cant find it sugar free or low carb so its out lol. But this Chai that I got last night OMG it smelllllllllls heavenly and I bet its good enough tea to be able to add milk and splenda to if you wanted that Chai feel. Warning about the triangle tea bags lol. There is a Vanilla Truffle Carmel flavored one. OMG I couldn't even get past the smell. I did make a cup of it up and ACK it was terrible. My opinion of course but it was awful. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the triangle bags though as they use HUGE pieces of tea and other things instead of the regular tea bags that just use the powder left over from the good stuff lolol. One day I want to learn to use and make with lose tea. positive thoughts being sent on getting you over that stall. *HUGS* You will do it!!! Cant wait to hear about the teas. *huggles* Felicia
