One pound away from my first goal!!!
I can not tell you how happy I am for you. *beaming* I will not make my goal of 299 by the new year but I will make 50lbs by the new year ( I only have 2 to go lol ) so that will have to be enough. Keep up the amazing work!! The only comment Joshua has made is that I am mushier lolol. And he is right. I am a walking bowl of jello I swear lol. I sure hope all this tightens up a bit lololol.

Hi my WLS twin!!!
Well, you may not have made the 299, but still 50 pounds gone is AMAZING!!!!!! Keep up the good work and you'll be there SOON. I know you can do it!! And, just so you know, I'm *beaming* at your 50 pounds gone FOREVER!!!!
I have to admit, I'm LOL at the mushier comment. I'm so there with you. My kids tell me that even though it's easier to hug me, I'm "softer" than before.

*sigh* the "Jello Jigglers" side of WLS roflmaooooo Dale and I were just talking about it. I swear there is no longer a single firm spot on this whole body. Ok so it used to be firm with fat but still at least it didn't flop around when I moved lmaoo OH well.. I will tackle that next lolol.

Hee hee...I know what you mean.
I told my hubby that after I lose the weight I want major plastic surgery.
The main things I want done are
#1 the tummy tuck and
#2 I want my boobs put back up on my chest where they belong!!!
IF we can get our insurance to pay for it, of course.
And, if we can get the insurance to do it,
I'd also like #3 the arms done.
We'll have to wait and see about #4 the thighs....so far they aren't horrible....and I'm hoping with lots of walking and eventually my Billy Blanks tapes I'll have those in shape again. I HOPE!!

Sadly I probably wont be able to get any. There will be NO WAY I could EVER self pay and the only way my insurance will cover any of it is if I have a tummy tuck or arm lift and they have to be considered medically necessary. As much as I would LOVE to have it all sucked and lifted back up where it belongs lol I would also like to retire comfortably and not lose my house or something due to spending it all on my butt and boobs lmaooo. But I can dream. Thank goodness for Lift it in a box and good push up bra roflmaoo. Besides Dale said NO WAY to plastics. His words "I didn't mind it when you were heavy and I wont mind it when it sags but I won****ch you suffering with going through plastics, just so you can (look) they way YOU think I want you to look." He is right as I would have it only to be more attractive to him and not really for anything else. I don't blame him for being scared of it. I haven't read a post yet that didn't tell the horrors of the pain and stuff that followed plastics. Ah well again I can still dream lololol and we never know what the future brings *grin*.
I figure thats why they made duct tape anyways roflmaoooooooooooo

Actually, you really should consider doing the tummy tuck - especially if your insurance will pay for it. I say this for a specific reason.
Before I quit my job, I was a Health Benefits Advisor at a Naval Hospital. We had lots of people have the surgery and lose the weight. Most of them had the TT, so no problem, but there were others who didn't want to have it done. I saw several of them end up with some major health problems. One lady had lost a lot of weight and had lots of loose tummy skin. Not to scare you, but her organs were actually coming out of place as there was nothing to help hold them in place. Since she waited so long, her surgery was very intensive and her recovery was extremely long and hard.
So, even if you can't have the boobs, arms, thighs, butt, etc., done, at least get the TT done. Yes, it will hurt. But, it's better than having even worse problems later.
As for your insurance covering the TT, most will after WLS. Especially as most people end up with rashes and infections underneath the pannis. The doctor will have to take pictures and submit a write up to the insurance company, but they know how to state it so that it will get approved.
I hope this gives you something to consider down the road.

I hear ya. Fred (dh) informed me, not really realizing what he was saying, that my boobs are getting gigglier. SO I looked and they are really looking more saggy...ugh...so I asked him and he said yeah they are getting looser. UGH MEN! Oh well he meant well and that just tells me that yes the inches are coming off! YAY!!!
I hear ya with the jello thing. I swear I need to wear a girdle just to not jiggle and wiggle wherever I go UGH!!!
Fred just got us a membership to a new gym so lets hope that works!!

ROFLMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO I am not sure even how to start describing my poor boobs. Thank goodness for a good perky bra roflmaoooooooo or they would be competing for space around my belly sag lmaooooooooo
I cant laugh at the girdle been thinking of that myself. Working out sure is interesting to say the least lmaoooo
