I had a WOW moment this morning. I started out this journey as a "lightweight" technically. I was 254 on the day of surgery. My first big goal was to be at 199 by New Years.... Well, this morning I hopped on and off the scale repeatedly as it just kept saying 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ONE pound away from being in ONEderland!! I'm so excited I can't think straight. To know that tomorrow I could be at my first goal is mind boggling to say the least. And, what's more, it happened over Christmas????? My eat everything and don't worry about it until January time of year? As you all know, that did not and could not happen this year. And, I lost almost 4 pounds over the past week! Wow.....I'm amazed and so thankful!! Just had to share with people who would understand. My kids just don't get it.... Susan

That is just awesome! I can not wait for your post to say you are there! YAY!!!! 4 lbs over the week of Christmas is great! I can not say as much but then again with the cookie I ate along with the carbs I kinda knew that was to be expected...you are a great inspiration! I am so glad you shared with us....and it is true that none WLS people just do not get how awesome it is to loose weight. Let alone on this basis. Keep up the good work! Hugs, Melissa

I wanted to be at the same goal for the New Year but the last time I weighted myself I was 7 lbs from it. I think I am on a stall. I am glad that you shared it with all of us here. I did not get tempted with any of the Christmas goodies...thankgoodness!!! I did well and can keep most things down since have the stricture opened last week and so thankful that I am not every time I eat anymore. Actually I have been eating without the fear anymore!! Keep up the great job and let us know when you reach your goal!! Hugs~~ Deanne

Hi Deanne!! Thanks for the sweet words!! I'm so glad you got your stricture taken care of and you can now eat without fear or I'm so glad you aren't having to deal with that anymore. Susan

How exciting, you're sooooo close!! I was hoping to be under 200 by New Year's, but I'm at 208, so I probably won't make it. But that's OK, I'm just thrilled to have 200 in my sights. Let us know once you reach onderland! - Jeannette
