Another wow moment
Ok, there have been a ton - but this one is worth sharing, especially in the light of the discussion we had recently about how we feel about people commenting on our weightloss....
Christmas eve the boyfriend and I stopped in to visit a church service where a good friend was preaching. We do not attend this church, but have many close friends there.
As we were leaving we ran into a recently married friend we hadn't seen in about a year. We chatted for awhile and I noticed her looking at me (without trying to be obvious). After the initial conversation had ended, the woman looked at me and smiled and said "Patti, you look REALLY, REALLY good. I don't know what it is, haircut, or something else, but wow, you look fantastic!"
Thats what I'm talking about! Boyfriend and I just beamed. I grinned and thanked her and told her how much I appreciated it (without explaining what it was that had me looking so good) and the boyfriend and I went on our way, quietly celebrating.
