Okay...since it does not show up.

Sorry that I did not get on here before now to tell you how things went. They did find a stricture the opening was the size of a pen around (approx 3 cm) and usual opening is around 10-15 cm so they did a balloon diletation (sp?) to 11 cm on me. I was feeling weird on the things that I ate last night so I ate very little...some scrambled eggs (2-3 bites) and that was it all day long. Today though someone brought in a meat and cheese tray and I have eaten 2 slices of turkey and 2 small slices of swiss cheese and it did not even hurt or anything. I am so happy I could dance...not sure that would not be a pretty sight. So that is the latest update on me...I am also going to be posting some pictures soon on our trip last weekend to Las Vegas...We had so much fun and now I am offically in a size 18 pant and have lost of 57 lbs. Yeah it is nice knowing that I can eat something and not the fear of getting sick comes into play. I might even venture out of the box and start eating more things. That is something that I would not of said a few days ago. I hope that now that I can eat things that I still continue to lose weight. I think it is moving slowly but then again I see all that everyone else has done it is about right. I need patience over here I guess. Well at least if you start having trouble again you will know what it is and don't have to suffer you can go right back in and get it fixed!!! I think you are right on target for your size and loss. Glad to hear everything went so well for you. I couldn't eat anything but liquid for 72 hours after my dilations. The first one was completely closed off and cost me 3 days in the hospital. Knock on wood...no more and I think 3 are enough anyway! Can't wait to see the Las Vegas Pics and Congrads on the new size!!! Be proud of yourself!!! Angela

Oh, Deanne, I am so glad that they were able to see the problem and fix it for you. I am sure that you are going to be so much happier with the surgery now that you will be feeling better. I'm also glad that the fix is quick and easy and has such quick results. Congrats, too, on the size 18 jeans. WOO0 HOOO!!! That is all cause for a happy dance. Shake what your mama gave ya!!!
