Let's Thank Felicia!!

Kids say the darndest things!!!!! Just like teaching the little one I watch to say thank you....well the th comes out like an f and the rest is a little hard to understand...so what do you think it sounds like! UH OH! They are so stinkin cute though ya gotta love em! Melissa

Ya know I have such mixed feelings about teaching them Thank you and Excuse me and things like that. Not because I am against it of course ( and my son uses both of these to the point of reminding ME to use them ) but you should walk through a store with a child with manners. JUST last night we were in Walmart and it was super crowded so of course Joshua is out front and he is "Excuse me, Excuse us" and I can NOT even start to tell you how many people IGNORED him or GLARED at him. Not ONE SINGLE PERSON said anything nice back to him. It was very sad. (So much for the holiday spirit ) Its hard to explain to them why you have them be polite when it seems that society is so freaking rude. I have even had a woman growl at me that it was bad parenting to have a smart mouthed kid ( this was after Joshua had said excuse us cuz she was parked in the middle of the isle and we couldn't get around her or go back the way we came.) She was very lucky Joshua was with me or I would have smacked her. But how do you tell a child hes doing the right thing when the reaction is like that. Its terrible. Ok off on a rant there lol sorry about that!! LMAOO I bet its adorable. I was always pretty sure that Joshua's first word would be a swear word. *sigh* I try and be have but some days just call for a bad word here and there lolololol. I totally agree... they are so stinkin cute!!!!!!!! *huggles* Felicia =)
