Hey Hey Hey. It's now been officially 11 weeks tomorrow. I am now down 51lbs. OMG I was so happy this morning. I have not been down to 267 since I was pregnant with my daughter 13 years ago. I just can't beleive it. I felt so good getting ready for work this morning How is everyone else doing? Molly

You're doing great! Way to go! I'm doing good. I'm down 49 pounds since surgery and 69 pounds from my all time high. I'm struggling a little with protein. I can't stomach the protein shakes, so I've been trying to get it all in with food. My NUT says I'm not getting enough, so I'm looking into different kinds of protein. DH thinks I'm losing too fast. But I noticed the weight loss has slowed a little in the last week or two. I see my surgeon today for a follow-up. I haven't seen him since my 2 week post-op because he had a death in the family, so we'll see how my appointment goes this afternoon. I did find out that I have bad acid problems, so I'll need to keep taking the Nexium for quite some time. I went off of it for a couple of days and had horrible pains. Now that I'm back on it, the pain hasn't come back. I'm happy with the weight loss. People are starting to notice and I feel good. It's nice to be at my lowest in 10 years. Jeannette

Congratulations Molly! That is more than halfway to the century club! I am down 51 lbs too. I am hoping that I get lots of gift cards for clothing stores for Christmas because I literally walking out of my clothes! The other day my sister told me I couldn't where my favorite jumper anymore because it was "ridiculously too big" on me. I took a break from my running last week because I was fighting a sinus cold. I did some walking instead and still lost a couple of pounds. I will start back with the running this evening. I am doing well with my protein and water. On the days I exercise I get 2 1/2 to 3 liters. Other days I get 1 3/4 to 2 liters. I still use my favorite protein drink, Profect, everyday. Sometimes I will make hot chocolate with Protein Delite chocolate protein powder. I have made "eggnog" with carb countdown milk, Davinci SF Eggnog flavored syrup, rum extract, and vanilla protein powder. It doesn't taste as good as the real thing but it will do. Elizabeth

Hi Molly, Congratulations, I too had surgery on 10/4/06 and am down 57 lbs. since the beginning of my 2 week liquid diet prior to surgery. I even a 3 week plateau that through me for a loop. I still am having dificulty trying to eat normal food. Most of the time nothing agrees with me at all. But I am getting all my protein in each day and most of my water. I am really pleased. I can't remember being this weight in over 10 years. What a blessing. Lynn

to all of you!! How great everyone is doing!! BRAVO!! I am new to this board and loving it. I am down 50 lbs and besides feeling tired all the time I don't do to bad. I just am not hungry but when I do get hungry something will sound great I will fix it then it doesn't sound good anymore. I love recipes and there is no one in my family that will eat what I eat at times my son might but not often. I have not been excercising but have joined a gym and went a few times but that has become one of my must at the first of the year. Everyone keep up the good work and glad to talk to you guys!!! Great to hear that everyone is doing so well. Makes me feel good that others are moving right along with me. I tell ya, those first 50lbs gone, holy cow what a high. I had to go through my piles (and I mean piles ) of clothes in the next size down. OMG.....they fit Who would have thought. It's definately taking my brain a bit to catch up. I mean, I see my progress, but the way I carry my weight is all in front low, so I have a hard time finding pants that fit, and shirts that are long enough. Best of luck to us all
