Need a 2nd kitchen...

SHEE****hink someone has invaded my house. My kitchen and medicine cabinet to be more specific. I feel like my new way of living has taken over lol. Protein containers here, "moms food don't eat" there, a DRAWER full of pills ( vitamins etc.. ). Its like I need to build on to accommodate everything lol. It doesn't help that I am anal so every thing has to have its "own place" AND have a back up of everything. I'm lucky cuz I have 2 frigs so all "mommies food" is in that one lol and the rest of the family gets the other one. I have a whole section of shelves that are mine now since I have protein containers, stuff to mix in protein shakes, my little blender etc that seems to have taken over that part of the kitchen. Then there is the drawer I had to take over to store all the bottles of vitamins and rx and stuff ( again anal I have a back up of every thing lol). I told hubby he was going to have to build on to the house I think for me lol. Anyone else feel like this? I would say or am I just a freak but I already know I am lol so no need to repeat that part *grin* *huggles* Felicia =)

Too funny...you are not a freak. You should see our house since it is just the two of us and we both have had WLS. Our fridge looks like protein haven and our linen closet looks like a pharmacy. We have a VERY tiny apt. here in Jersey so I am anxious to move back to CO so we can have some more room. It was funny. We got married this past Aug and when we registered I was silly and did not do any large pots or anything thinking that I would never be cooking again. That was totally the way I felt at the time though. I LOVE to cook and he was in the begining 1st few months where he was limited so I thought I would never be able to cook again like I loved to. Now when my mother-in-law comes to stay I have to go out and buy food just for her to eat as I am very protective of our food in the fridge. Everything that I buy has a great deal of thought into it and when she comes she just eats and eats like we used to except she is now eating our more expensive stuff that we splurge on as we eat so little of it (sorry a bit of MIL venting) My kitchen now looks like we actually have kids as the cabinets are full of very small containers for everything. Pleople think it is hillarious. SOOOOO long and drawn out you are so totally not a freak and def. not alone. I forgot to mention the entire side of our kitchen counter that is taken up by our huge protein shake jugs and the magic bullet and the measuring items for those. We all must be nuts Melissa

LOL ok so we much be the 2 freaks of the group *grin* as it seems no one else has this problem lol. We have a what I would call medium sized old house but it has NO STORAGE at all. So its been hilarious trying to figure out where to put all this stuff. Of course that is my own fault cuz I am a "one up" type person, meaning I always like to have a back up of every thing. My be the "Flylady" in me lol. But I hate having to run to the store or remember to order on-line something cuz I ran out or an so close to running out that I may have to go a day or two with out it. Its just funny to me I guess that be fore it was like 1 bottle of vitamins and that was it and now its like half a house full of "supplies" lolol. *huggles* Felicia =)

We must be ther strange ones.... LOL Supposedly our apt has storage but that seems to be a joke in itself. We have a closet that runs under the stairs but that is where the Christmas stuff is along with anything else that we have no room for. I can not wait till we move to CO and finally have some room. This place is sooooo tiny........way too tiny... You sound just like my Mom with the one up of everything. That is totally how she taught me to be so alas I am right with ya on that one as well. When do you get to move to Colorado? Gosh you will be just down the hill from me *grin* lolol. To funny about your Mom. Mine is just the opposite. She is always late, always out of things and basically a disorganized mess lol. She actually brings people to my house to show off how orgnaized it is. LMAOO Eventually I will have lots of storage but we have to finish the outside first lol then I get turned lose on the inside. Its an old house, nothing fancy but hey I have a huge yard AND a cheap mortgage LOLOL. Cant beat that. Housing costs are just crazy! *huggles* Felicia =)
