I have lost much ?
Hi Felicia...
I hadn't even thought about how to count it. LOL I've always counted from the day of surgery, which is also how my surgeon counts. But, as my highest was only 5 pounds more it doesn't make a huge difference to me. Of course, when I think about it, there IS a difference between 44 pounds and 49 - mentally, that is.
Congrats on how well you are doing on your journey!!!
Susan
I count from my 1st appt w/ my surgeon. 389...thats the highest high I have ever hit and I WILL NEVER HIT THAT# AGAIN!!! From that point to here I have lost 43lbs. If I counted from surgery day it would be 30 lbs. But I lost the full 43 lbs. it doesnt matter that the 1st 13 was on my own without the aid of my new weight loss tool. I have worked hard to lose all 43 lbs and darned if I wont claim every last pound of it!!!
I was 382 at my first surgeons appointment. I wish that had been my highest *sigh*. But I so agree that it is WONDERFUL to know that we will NEVER EVER see those numbers EVER again!!
Amen to everything you said lol. We did work hard for every single 1lb movement on that darn scale and we should be able to count them!!
Thanks for the reply!

Felicia =)
I count from my highest weight which was when I had my pre-op physical. When I saw my surgeon just prior to my day, I weighed less. So I guess I count from my highest weight. I started at 252. I had a school nurse weigh me yesterday on one of the school scales. We got 216. I was holding my breathe. I still want to be weighed on an accurate scale without any shoes. Got to get those extra ounces where we can.
