Hair... Why is it...
LOL!!! I agree. It would be nice, wouldn't it? Have you started losing hair already? I think I am ok. My hair is short, so I haven't noticed anything yet. I just got it cut last night and my hairdresser said to start growing my hair longer because she had a client that after her bypass surgery and when she lost her hair, it fell out at her lower hair line. She said if my hair were short and I lost my hair down low, it would look ridiculous. I thought that you would lose hair from all over, but I guess everyone is different.
I always lose hair lol. I used to joke before surgery that the only way I will know its falling out due to surgery is if there is a bald spot left afterwards lol. I have super thick and curly hair so I am not sure I would even notice "spots" if they happened. But I have noticed this past week that it is coming out a bit more then usual. But nothing to stress over yet. Will be nice to have thinner hair for a while. I just cut 6 plus inches off mine cuz I got sick of leaning back against it in the chair or being strangled with it when I turned over at night lol. Its still long though but much nicer to deal with these days. Draw back is every time I cut it off it gets curlier *sigh*.

You are already having hair loss? I have not seen any hair loss than the normal and actually that has slowed down some as well. I have thick hair as well and I really am not worried to much about the loss, I guess until it gets here. I agree with the hair on the armpits and legs it could go away for good and I would not even mind. lol

Just once in a while more comes out then the normal is all. Could just be "winter shedding" also LMAOOO I probably would never notice it if they dont seem to harp on the fact we are going to lose our hair. There is lots more where the ones that fell out came from lmaoo so I am not to worried *grin*.

OK Ladies....1 word...BIOTIN. It is a B vitamin supplement that can help to greatly reduce the post surgery hair loss. I am 6 weeks out and started taking the Biotin the day I came home from the hospital. I have had no marked hair loss so far and knockon wood it will stay that way!!!
Now when it comes to still having to shave the pits, pubes and legs...well at least its getting a whole lot easier as the weight comes off !!! Gotta count the small blessings too!
I have taken Biotin twice a day since 2 weeks out ( 5000 mcg each) and over 100 grams of protein a day and so far its failing me lolol but I am going to keep taking is cuz I know it will for sure help with the new hairs coming in.
ROFLMAOOO good point about the shaving being easier lmaooo
