TRYING CEREAL TODAY

TODAY I AM TRYING SPECIAL K PROTEIN PLUS CEREAL. IT HAS 10 GRAMS PROTEIN FOR 3/4 CUP...ADD IN 1 CUP 1% MILK AND THATS ANOTHER 8 GRAMS PROTEIN!! I JUST HOPE I DON'T GET GAS FROM IT WHILE AT WORK TODAY!! HUGS JUDY

Good luck!! The only cereal I have tried has been Cherrios. I didn't have any trouble with them. *hugs* Felicia =)

LOL I don't have a clue. I just know it was on my list when I switched to pureed foods. It was easy to get down and didn't want to come back once it was down there lol. I don't eat it often as I try to avoid most processed carbs but its nice once in a while as a change up for breakfast. I heard a lot of people are eating that Kashi Go Lean cereal to but I dont know anything about it. Good luck!!! *hugs* Felicia =)

I have not tried any cereals yet. Not sure if they are approved or not. I hope that it works well for you.

We were told at 6-8 weeks out we could try cereals. So I tried it today...Made sure it was soggy though. And chewed it good too!!! And no gas from it either!!! Call your NUT and ask if you can have cereal yet. Hugs Judy

I tried that one. It was OK. Kinda tasted like Raisin Bran without the Raisins. I had 1/2 cup and about 1/2 cup of Super Skim Milk. I did good until it got to soggy then I couldn't gag it down. Did you like it? I also put a 1/2 teaspoon of Splenda Brown Sugar in it. My Favorite cereal for breakfast is Cocoa Wheats. Ate it on the pureed stage, too. 1/3 cup of skim milk, 1 TBSP of Cocoa Wheats and 1/2 teaspoon of the Splenda Brown Sugar and sometimes a little shake of salt. It was YUMMY!!! I really wish that Banana Nut Crunch wasn't so bad for you. I love it. Glad the Special K didn't give you gas. Thats a relief...no pun intended. Hee Hee.
