Hi, I just seem to have such a problem with my morning meal. Eggs do not sit well for me and if I eat anoother bowl of oatmeal I'll explode (well not really). I just want to incorporate something else. I have had cottage cheese w/fruit also.. JRW

I usually have Cherrios, Instant Grits or Cream Of Wheat. I am not a big egg eater anymore so never really ever have them for breakfast. I also like cottage cheese with a touch of real ( not the imitation) bacon bits in it or ricotta cheese with a touch of splenda and what ever flavor extract I am in the mood for at the time. Also it doesn't have to be a "breakfast food" that you eat for breakfast. Could be anything that looks yummy in the frig. This morning I had Wendy's Chili lol. Good luck with your search! Felicia =)

Hi Jai- I dump on eggs... totally bizzare since its not fatty, sugary, or a carb of any sort, but, nonetheless, eggs are out for me as well. Also, mornings are always rough, so typically, I just have a liquid meal (protein shake, carnation instant breakfast), yogurt, or an ounce of cheese. I also take my multivitamin which oddly helps to fill me up. Hope that helps! Mandy

I am the same. Eggs are still rough with me. I usually have a yogurt or even a yogurt smoothie. Dannon light and fit makes some great ones. They only have 5 grms of protein but it really helps to break up the repetative stuff. I have not heard of cheerios but that seems like a great idea as they are whole grains and to be a whole lot more appealing than cream of wheat or plain oatmeal which are on my plan. I like your idea of cottage cheese with fruit. I love it with pineapple. I am a very lucky one who does not dump so fruits go over well with me and my nutritionist like that for me as well. Best of luck to you. There is a lso a great recipe I found on here for protein pancakes that you can have with sugar free syrup. Take 1 egg, 1/4 cup plain oats, 1/4 cottage cheese. Mix in magic bullet and they make great pancakes and they have everything that we can have. Not sure what the values are but you can probably put it together with the ingredients. I can not quiet finish a whole one so I only make them when hubby is here too. It makes about two pancakes. You can also put the other one in the fridge and just heat it up for another day. They are really good and a great alternative. Hope that helps, Melissa

I am only allowed protein right now, no fruit veggies or carb foods. I do like to do ricotta cheese w. splenda and cinnamon or some almond extract, eggs (which I know are out for you), deli meat and cheese. I just try to keep it bland....no more fajita chicken for breakfast, pouch was not happy with me that day! You dont need to eat "breakfast food" at breakfast time. Eat what makes your pouch happy!
