What is your Vitamin schedule?

It was interesting reading everyones schedule. Mine is a little different. I take synthroid for my thyroid which can not be taken with 4 hours of vitamins so I start with that very first thing in the AM. I take that and my bc and alergy meds along with prilosec. Then 4 hours later I take a chewable multi from Costco. Cheap cheap cheap...300 for $10 something. I take my subligual b-12 then also. I have gotten it at GNC on sale but I am searching out cheaper places. Then later I take a B-1. I have not been told to start calcium yet but I know it is coming at the 1 month check up. Mine is a little early due to the holiday. I am totally not looking forward to having to down the calcium pills. That is going to stink. My hubby never had any problems so I hope that I won't. I wish I had a short list....that would be really nice....and also to not have that 4 hours when I can not take anything else...that stinks..... Melissa

I couldn't imagine swallowing calcium pills ACK they are HUGE lol Right now I am hacking down the Citracal Creamy Bites but I just ordered a powdered form of calcium I have heard is tasteless and easy to get down so I have high hopes lol. I just started being able to swallow capsuals and small pills on Saturday. I don't know if I could have done it sooner but this was a soon as my bravery would let me lol. *hugs* Felicia

After swallowing 10 pills everyday for the past 5 years, I am estatic about taking a few a days. Other then my calcium and vitamin I take prilosec and singulair on a daily basis. It is heaven. Aime

WOW thats a lot of pills. This is a huge switch for me because before surgery I didnt take any pills unless I had a headache or something like that lol. Now I take what feels like a ton. But better to take them then to not , thats for sure. *hugs* Felicia

Ya on the Ursodiol, I figured better to take them and have a shot at not have surgery again then not and have missed a chance to avoid going back under the knife. If it happens it happens but at least I tried to stop them lol. *hugs* Felicia =)

Hi there! I, myself, wasn't so afraid of the whole pill, but I do remember being horribly afraid to eat that first "solid" food (pudding) I had a week after surgery!! Now there's a first! I take one chewable multi-vit a day (Centrum Senior), 2 500 mg chewable Calciums per day (don't remember the brand, but got them at Walgreens). All 3 need to be taken with different meals. I also take ursidol. And I got my first B-12 shot at my 1-month check up and will do my own shots at home monthly. I'm not sure if you can take the B-12 with your calcium. I went out to get a really big, 1-week at a time, pill-minder today, as the chewables are really big. But I need to keep all my pills in one place and ready to go, or I tend to miss them. I certainly do not miss taking my zoloft crushed! IT tasted terrible, but I ususally mixed it with some protein shake, and that coated it, kept it away from my taste buds!
