I am so happy. Just had my two week post op visit and staples out. Dr. is pleased with my progress. Now for the weight loss...drum roll please...... I lost 19lbs as of today. That is 19lbs in 14 days. I am thrilled. On that note. Doc. said to start on some new foods tonite. I tried talapia and it felt like it got stuck. I think I will try something softer tomorrow (what is softer than fish?????). AAnyway who needs food! I just lost 19lbs and I am thrilled.

YAY!!!!!!! That is sooooo awesome. I did talapia also. I poached it is a tiny bit of butter and some chicken broth and watched it carefully. I used light mayo and made some tartar sauce it help with the moisture. I usually do not do any sauce but I was worried about the dryness also. One thing that has been joy for me is Taco Bell pintos and cheese. I put a tiny bit of ff sour cream and ff guacamole dip on it and it is heaven. I have been really lucky with the foods though. I am so glad that you are doing well. 19lbs YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Side note on the beans,,,,,,,,they have fiber in them to help things move on through . CONGRATS!!!!! Melissa

I'm 3 weeks post op and at 2 wks I had lost 19 and then stalled this whole week...now I'm down 21 lbs...I have tried a few "soft" foods and most were ok...like soft scrambled eggs and ricotta cheese with spaghetti sauce and mozzeralla baked(heaven)...then last night cottage cheese got stuck and it hurt so bad...it felt like it was in my throat like the worst heartburn and then I felt like I was going 2 get sick...luckily I didn't but it's really a rocky road not knowing what's going to go down o****ep thinking if I drink it will help it go down but they say not too...that part is soooo hard!

I learned my lesson on that part. Don't drink. It makes it hurt worse. My only relief was to ummm..... I felt better immediately. Sure makes you learn what to eat and not to eat very fast. Keep up the good work.
