ANYONE ELSE???

Is anyone else having a problem with their mouth/teeth always feeling like you haven't brushed in a week??? Could it be from the protein we are taking??? I think its gross myself. Hugs Judy

Lap RNY 10/17 - OMG YES! I am brushing 3+ times a day. I have a horrible taste in my mouth and am so afraid that I have bad breath to go along with it. I brush as soon as I wake up, because that is when it is at it's worst. I don't know what it is from but it is horrible.

I posted this question on the over 50 forum and a response I got was that it does go away . She had hers back in August and its gone now. Maybe from the anesthesia??? I sure hope it leaves soon!! I can't stand it!!! Good luck!!! Hugs Judy

Also, I can't have certain sublinguil vitamins because after surgery there is an enzyme missing in my saliva which does not dissolve them. My Nut says she has seen it once or twice before. I wonder if this has anything to do with it. How are your sublinguals?

I have a terrible time disolving my B-12 as well. I end up having the break it up. I was going to call Dr Oh to find out if I can get the shot. Susan

I found a b-complex online that is a micro pill that is supposed to dissolve in 10 seconds. It is made the same way as nitro pills. So I had my Nut check them out and she said they were great and they are cheap too. Mine should be in soon. I will let you know if they work like the should. They might work for you. I asked about the nose spray and they said we have to try other things before we do that. So, I hope this works. I will let you know. I tried my first one this morning. It dissolved in about 15 seconds. It did not turn my teeth yelllow like the coenzymatic ones from GNC. It is as bad tasting as the others, but at least it does not last long.

OK so here's the thanks that I am not the only one. My hubby had it and still has it sometimes. I was told that it is from our bodies being in ketosis. It goes back to the whole low carb high protein thing. Who knows though....I am anxious to see if someone has an answer. I will be looking back here. My toothbrush is getting tired in the meantime.
