I bet it is an awesome feeling. I will be there with you soon. I am up for suggestions on how in the very beginning you got everything down....if you did that is. Keep up the good work and it is an aweomse road that is all down hill (on the scale that is) form here! CONGRATS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been very lucky I guess...I have had no problem....I just take it very slow...Protein being my top priority....I use unflavored unjury and sprinkle that in EVERYTHING...It is better if I put it in something warm...cold...leaves an aftertaste for me...I drink 2-3 protein shakes a day...I use BODY FORTRESS WHEY PROTEIN....Chocolate flavor...you can get it at Wal Mart or Target....23g protein per serving and it is yummy....I use a hand held blender...(milk shake maker) to get it blended well and put a a few ice cubes in it to make it thick...I have never had any issues with nausea..My Dr put me on pepcid...and I think that may be the reason....

I would be glad to...refere to my response to Melissa about my Protein I use...
As far as pureed....My fav...is tuna...with a little low fat mayo onion salt and a little pickle juice for flavor...or I put low fat cottage cheese instead of mayo....and use my hand held blender...(what an awesome tool...)....I don't use baby foods which some people use...about anything in the pantry I puree...Green beens...with a spray of imitation butter...I also make a chicken salad the same way I make tuna...with canned chicken...Also love Hormel turkey low fat chili...with a litte grated cheese...

I'm almost 2 weeks post-op and to this day didn't think about pureeing the tuna or chicken. I've been eating beans, various dairy products and mostly Campbell's creamy soups. I'm wanting more variety and you just gave me some ideas. Thank You!
I have been going to restaurants. Usually ordering the soups except when we went to my favorite Mex rest. I ordered a side of refired beans with a little sour cream and asked for just the juice of their bean soup so that I could add that to my beans. OH! It was so wonderful to have a familiar flavor with spices.

Glad to see things are going so well for you. Thanks for all the advice. I did not think about Chili. I am going to get some when I go to the store today. Like you I had surg on 10/17 and have been meeting my fluid and protein goals, but I am only doing 1 shake a day and 1 protein pudding. I have lost 23 pounds as well. But, I just got over a 5 day stall. Did you have one too?
Now I just gotta get this vitamin thing resolved. How are you doing on your vits?
