Dr. C.....I was the person with Congestive Heart failure who posted the question about having WLS done. Well I just wanted you to know that I saw my heart doctor today and he said go for it. I almost fell off examination bed. He said he wasn't worried about me having a heart attack but the build up of liquids after the procedure. I asked him which procedure (Lap Band or RNY) would be best and he said that's up to to the WLS surgeon. He also said if I needed any help he would be glad to answer any questions that he might have. Tomorrow I'm going to call OSU and ask them if they will perform WLS on this ole' (few months away from my 60th birthday) fat guy. Well I just wanted to let you know what my status was at this time. Again I want to thank you and the others for getting back to me so quickley. I'll let you know what happens in the next few weeks. Thanks again, Dave B.
