need breakfast suggestions
having problems in the mornings. I always have half a banana with p-nutbutter, then go to work and have my one cup of coffee with a little creamer. Here is my problem..I love to have something sweetish to eat with my coffee. I try stuff made with fake sugar but hate the taste! I have made pumpkin bread thinking it is better than some of the stuff I stop and get at the store, but who knows. I would appreciate any ideas you all may have. thanks. denise
Try putting you banana and p-nutbutter in a blender with a carnation instant breakfast (blue box - 0 carb) and add a sweet and low, and make it with milk or milk substitute. You'll get your protein. I usually work on this awhile, and have breakfast and brunch with this drink. Want it sweeter add another sweet and low.
SPLENDA is the best since it is derived from sugar. No after taste at all what so ever. I haven't had surgery yet however when I can go to soft foods( and I am training myself right now to eat this way) Use instant oatmeal one package and sweeten with splenda brown sugar. It's so good. I love splenda and have been using it for some time now. Splenda can be used in baking too and they have large bags of it for this purpose at most grocery stores. make sugar free pudding with skim milk. I hope I was helpful! Jackie SE MI
