I am approved

My surgery is Monday on October 23, 2006, a little scared, but also excited. Looking for someone to talk to me about what to expect after surgery, like does it hurt alot? I have never had any surgery, and the only severe pain I have ever felt is child birth.

Gwen, Congratulations on your date!!!!!!!! Get ready for a wild ride, hang on tight and enjoy. Follow you doctors instructions. Call me when you have questions, need support or encouragement. Gwenda, Congrats!!! I will be thinking of you on the 23rd. The only pain I had in the hospital is from the gas. If you get up and walk a lot, it helps. I am still having some problems with it, but it is getting better. When you get home, walk, walk, walk. It is the best thing for you. And when the doc says to takes little sips, he means it!! I was drinking some water today and actually forgot and took a big drink...bad mistake! So, take it easy on the sips. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have later. Best wishes to you!
