I am home!
Hello everyone!
I got home yesterday from the hospital. It was really good to be back home. My surgery went well, and everything is going good so far. The only pain that I am having is the gas. Sometimes, it is more than I can handle. But, I know that it is just temporary. I have been able to keep liquids down so far. But, I have to admit, I will be glad to chew on something soon. LOL. Moving around is the best thing to do. The more you move around, the less the gas hurts. It is very chilly here today, so I am doing all my walking in the house. I took a shower this morning, and was a little weak from that, but it made me feel so much better. My first night in my own bed was kinda rough at first, but then it was fine. Let's just say that me and B.B. are coming very close. LOL. B.B. is my brown bear Dr. Richard gave to me in the hospital! My sense of smell is very sensative. My husband smokes, and even thought he goes out side, I can't bear to smell the smoke when he comes back in. He says that he is going to try to quit. He is such a sweetie. I couldn't have made it this far without him. Well, I hope everyone that has had surgery this week is doing fine. I can't wait to see some results. My stomach is so bloated, I can't tell anything yet. In a few days I know I will be able to tell. Good luck to all that are having surgery this week. My advice to you would be to move, move, move. That will help more than anything. Thanks to all that left encouragement to me before my surgery. It has really meant a lot!
