Monika, I am glad you are home and doing well despite the pain. Was your surgery open or laproscopic? I had laproscopic and morphine helped with my pain. The worse pain for me was from hiccups. Elizabeth

Thanks! Yes, those hiccups were no joke on those incisions! They still catch my breath, and I'm 5 days out. I had a laproscopic surgery, and no luck with the Morphine. I don't know what's up with me! It just didn't do the job. Doing much better now. Thanks for responding.

I am so sorry that you hurt, but it is good for me to be prepared. My surgery is on Oct. 24. It is wonderful that you finally were able to have the surgery after your long struggle. Everyone is built different and everyone is wired differently. it is good advice about the walking. I walk with a cane and I am 65 years old. I just pray that I can walk it off. Keep thinkin/ the good thoughts. Marti

Aw shucks, Marti. You sure know how to make a girl feel badly for bellyaching Enough about me--Hats off to YOU for being so courageous at 65! Yes, be prepared, and I'm sure that you'll be fine. I know I have a low threshold for pain. I'll be thinging about you.
