Now that thats over

Hey all~ Surgery is all done, THANK GOODNESS....been home 2.5 days and I just walked around the block. Got tired halfway through, but knew the only way i would get home is if i kept on walking. I guess I got C-diff while in the hospital it is so horrible and embarassing. I thought I was just ahving gas and that the diarrhea was do to aneshthesia (NOT BECAUSE I AM EATING) well it never went away so after the 7th episode today I called the doc. Now I go on some horrible antibiotic....Is this the price we pay for thinness LOL.....anyways, figured I would say hello.....

Welcome home! Glad to see you up walking. Sorry about the runs though...thats never fun..and im sure after surgery its not even close. Yes..we have to pay for thinness ( cost of surgery isnt cheap! ) Just think...you will be thin and past all this mess before you know it!! Congrats!! Shannon

So glad that you are home and not having too much trouble. That walk was awsome, I hope that I will be able to exercise that much. I am having surgery on the 25th and am on day 2 of my fast. I was wondering if your taste has changed since surgery? I just got my sample of Hanks protien and had one tonight and it was terrific! It tasted like a chocolate malt YUM. I want to order some but am afraid that I might not like it after surgery, and it is costly, but well worth it if I can tolorate it.

Hi. I didn't even try my Hanks yet. I got it 2 weeks before surgery. I wanted to wait a while before trying it for the exact reason you mentioned. I'm on clear liquids now, but cant wait to have some.
