Not the same date as you, mine is Oct 25 so we are close! I am nervous and excited at the same time, but in my heart I know that this is the right thing to do. I have researched and researched and feel real confident that I am going to be fine. I have an excellent surgeon. His record is outstanding! His support before and after is great, I have been going to support group meetings for a year, since Sept 05 when I started this whole process. We will be fine, just do exactly what your surgeon says, remember they are the experts, and you will be successful! Ann

Hi Patty I am having my surgery the same day and I am not nervous yet, I guess it will happen soon. I like reading all the stories on OH, they keep me busy and very inspired. Also there are lots of forums to read on this website. Good Luck to you
