i got my date... 10/18

the surgeon's office just called and i am a definite on the schedule for wednesday, october 18th!! i was pre-certified by the hospital, but my "official approval" was not received yet. i asked if i should get excited now or wait, and gerry the surgery scheduler said yes... she said that all of my ducks were in a row and not to worry!! woohoo, i can't wait!

Congrats, I will be right there with you on the 18th! My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am on the 18th!

thank you marci, and best of luck to you too!!! i will be thinking about you as we count down our days, and as they wheel me into the o.r. at 8am. you will have a little bit of a head start on me. i don't know about you, but i am so ready, and can not wait until the 18th. i'm not one bit nervous or afraid, just excited to start this new journey. best regards, patricia

thank you so much molly... i just read your profile (ok, just the last couple of days before surgery), and it sounds like you did great. i know the feeling of being "ready". i can't wait. i have thought about this for so long. i also have a black lab (she is also half german shorthaired pointer), and my daughter just got a purebred black lab puppy. but i do have to tell you, i am a diehard phillies phan, and you know what that means... i have to hate the "stankees". lol, oh well, maybe next year. i guess that means that you are a giants fan too. eagles all the way in this house!! thanks again for the nice note, and best of luck to you. fondly, patricia
