I'm a little worried. I only get two weeks off...Hopefully this will enough recoop time. :-S

Barbara, I too am only taking off 2 weeks. I did complete the paperwork for FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act of 1993). This is leave granted and keeps your job/positon - federal Law. If you don't have the sick/vacation time then it goes unpaid, but they can't fire you or demote you. Hope that helps. I have heard from a few that they were ready to go back after the first week. LOL. Not sure if I fit that category. They say if you exercise before surgery it helps with recovery. I plan to come back to work after 2 weeks but may do 1/2 days if I need too. Since I am salary I will still get paid for 8 hours. What kind of WLS are you having? I am having Laprascopic Gastic Bypass. Diane
