OMG, just one week to go!

Hi everyone! Ijust joined this website tonight. This is a great place to be right now. I am so thankful that I found this. I am so excited! I went to my first info meeting in December of 2005. After a few months of research and praying, I started the steps in May of 2006. Now, here I am just one week before my surgery, and I can't tell you the feelings I am having right now! I know that this is going to be the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I can't wait to start showing results. I hope to make a lot of friends here. Sherry, I will be thinking of you next week. I think we are all feeling kinda the same. A mix of excitement and scared. Your positive attidute will help you along your new life journey. My surgery date is Oct. 23rd. I went to my first seminar in August 2006. Time has flown by. 17 days and counting. Keep us posted. Diane

good luck to all of us! i have my laprny scheduled for oct.17th in san jose, ca. i'm getting excited and nervous. everyone says you start to second guess yourself. i've lost the 10 lbs dr. jossart suggested i loose but i have thought, maybe i can do it on my own. no way! i've been trying to do it on my own for many years! and here i am. a candidate for wls. so here we all go. on our new journey. take care all and a speedy progression to health and solid foods! margaret
