Oct 3 Roll Call 7 days left
Good luck to everyone. I am excited to be so close having thought about surgery for almost 4 years now. The clear liquid stage is sometimes difficult (I have kids at home). I do fine at work even though others eat all the time around me and bring treats in but when I go home it seems to be a little more difficult. Good thing I've been sick with my allergies, a migrane and flu symptoms that I've spent a lot of time in bed trying to get better before my surgery or they wont do it. I finally started feeling better last night but woke up with a migrane that just got worse as they day went by I was afraid to take my prescribed meds because I know I can't have them after surgery and haven't made a call to my PC dr to see what is a good alternative since there are a lot of meds I am unable to take.
Ok enough on me. Again, I want to wish everyone an speedy complication free surgery and to here all the wonderful news after you return home.

Now we're down to 3 days! Everybody keeps asking me if I am nervous or excited and my response is "BOTH" !
I will be at John's Hopkins in Baltimore, but don't know what time on Tuesday until afternoon on Monday. I understand the reasoning behind the late surgery time, but it sure makes it hard to plan - I travel from No. Virginia to MD. Oh well, in the big picture this is very small but it does add to the worry.
Here's something i would like to pass on - A co-worker suggested some meditation and I figure that some positive visualization would be a good idea too - picturing myself feel OK, thinner, and healthy!!!
I want to wish everyone one an event free surgery, a speed recovery and safe weight loss!!!
Talk soon,
Lisa
