October 12

This is my first time here. I got a date of October 12 yesterday. I've been in the process since February and now it's finally almost here! I cannot believe it. I have a pre-op and nutrional appts on 9/26 - I have to start a 2-week liquid diet on 9/28. Then I have blood drawn on 10/2, go to the hospital for a tour on 10/4 and meet my primary care for a pre-op and EKG on 10/6. After that it's just a week of waiting!! I can't believe it! Vet

Congrats Vet! My date is Oct. 4th and I am currently going through the liquid diet. Is Dr. Greene your surgeon? Your to list is similar to mine. The only thing I have left now is to meet the Nurse Practioner next Wednesday. Elizabeth

Elizabeth- Congrats to you!! I'll be thinking of you on the 4th! I have Dr. Lee at GWU in WDC. But I think most of the surgeon's are starting to make everyone do the liquid diet. It helps reduce the fatty deposits on your liver. Vet

We have the same surgery date! It is coming up fast!! I am already on the modified Atkins diet, i have mild fatty liver disease. Good luck to you! less than 3 weeks left! M.
