JuliAnn, Welcome to our site. Sorry to hear about your miscommunication. That's the fault of the doctors office. I see mine every 3 months. I think 94lbs is an awesome loss. You should be proud that you did it yourself without seeing your doctor for so long. I'm down about 150-152lbs. I want to lose maybe 30 more. But it's tough. When I saw my doctor last month. He said i've exceeded what was expected and more. I've lost more than 70% of total body weight. That is what is supposed to happen about 2 yrs out. So i'm happy about that. You are doing just fine. Not everyone loses the same amount. Some lose more and some lose less. Some lose faster and some slower. But a loss of any amount is something to be happy about. If you are concerned about where you think you should be, call your doctor and ask him/her what they would think. If you can't speak to the doctor, is there a nutritionist that you could talk to and see where you think you may be at. I bet they will tell you you are on track and doing just fine. I think now the weight will come off slower as we get further out. No matter what. You are doing great. Keep it up. Best of luck, Lsia J. in Mass

Sheryl, Great ideas. I don't drink anyway so I won't have to worry about that. Going to my cousins so I won't have anything to bring home. My gym is open 24-7 so I think I will go and get a workout before so this way I will feel better and not worry about what to eat as it won't be alot anyway. Have a Happy Thanksgiving Lisa J. in Mass

Ann, I was the one that posted very unhappy. I'm about 40-45lbs from goal and just can't seem to get there. Maybe after Thanksgiving I will go back to just doing just protein drinks and see how that goes. Have a nice Thanksgiving and we'll all get there soon. Lisa J. in Mass

Erin, I'm so jealous. You look amazing. I love you hair that way too. Hopefully I'll get there one day. Still stuck in a rut and eating bad things and getting sick. And my clothes are starting to get a bit tight. Lisa J.

I went to a support group meeting in Philly over the weekend. I had a blast. There is an awesome women that holds them at her home. We went to a Hibatchi Restaurant afterwards and then out dancing. I have some new pictures of me under the November Blog on my profile and also other pictures of the group in my photo album area. Enjoy! ((HUGS)) Erin

Great strategies. I'm with you on all three counts, although one of my roommates will cook some food at our house. She's limiting our house to a small turkey breast, fresh collard greens, and a small pan of mashed potatoes. She'll also make sweet potato pie, but that's not my thing so I'm not worried about having it around. I also decided to work the day after Thanksgiving - that will keep me from sitting around the house and snacking on leftovers. Again, good luck to everyone - we'll need it! Kellie

Lisa, My sympathy on the death in your family. Regarding getting yourself back on track, I think a lot of us are struggling with this right now. We're well past the honeymoon period where it's easy to lose and our pouches are very small. Now we're battling the demons that have always haunted us - how easily those old, bad habits creep back in. I'm trying to be mindful on a day-to-day basis about what I eat and how much I eat. I keep healthy snacks around, plus I keep track of my daily food intake and how much I weigh every day. I know that without daily reminders I will slip back into my old ways and put back on some of those hard-lost pounds. So the only advice I can offer is to be mindful about what you're doing as it relates to eating, drinking and exercising. In the long terms, that's what will help us be successful and keep off the weight we've lost. Good luck to you on your continuing journey - Kellie
