I get in those ruts all the time, Lisa. Just go back to the beginning stages and forget about what you have been eating. It took years to gain all that weight. It won't happen over a few bad days. So try to go back to protein shakes and healthy snakcs! I am here for you if you need me!

Good to see you! Turkey day went ok here too, pouchy got a little grumbly but didn't get too bad. Too many strange foods all at once! Glad yours went well. Now we have to face Christmas and New Years!!! So much food everywhere - challenges, challenges.

Yes it is way too cool!!! You've done so well - congratulations! It's amazing isn't it? I still thank God every day for this surgery, my surgeon and everyone who's been there along the way this last year! I know the day I realized I'd lost half of me I was in such awe! It still blows me away. On Thanksgiving my nephew, who I hadn't really talked to much in the last year, was asking me all about the surgery and weight loss. He kept saying he always knew me as heavy/large (I know he didn't say fat) and it was strange for him to see me now. He asked me how much in total I'd lost and when I said - 172 lbs, he said "wow, you lost a chubby chick". We got a good chuckle out of that!
Thanks for sharing your happiness - it's nice to see! Gonna go shopping again today lol? Shopping sure is different now isn't it! Enjoy, you deserve it - all of it!!! Take care! Jeanne

Ok listen up. Its official. My highest weight was 311. That was Christmas 2004. I started my quest the following Feb. Had surgery 10/2005. This morning I weighed
155. I have lost 156 lbs. I have lost more weight than I weigh. I have been at the same weight for months and I guess I just hit a spot where I started losing a little. Nothing drastic. Just 3 lbs. But go**** feels so weird. I never thought I would ever in my entire life know what slim feels like, or what normal is. Its still really hard. I was shopping again today and I was back in the large size clothes.
Oh well just wanted to share and thank everyone for the Great Support....
Thanks to Dr. Sonnanstine for this new life. I love it!!!!!!

sorry Ihavent been around alot.I have finally moved outof vinnys place and into my own things are going weel im down a ****load of weight and keep losing fast. turkey day went ok had a little bit of everything not much else is new
