Are your breasts large enough that they cause back and/or shoulder pain? If so and you have or can get medical proof of that, the surgery may be considered "medically necessary" instead of cosmetic. I'm not sure if that's your situation, but I wanted to offer the suggestion. Good luck on your efforts with plastic surgery. It's nice to see you on the board again! Kellie

Yes, I've been a stranger. Life is often hectic and unpredictable. Hopefully I'm back for good and I won't take any more sabbaticals. I know I was suppose to be planning Las Vegas but my schedule will not allow me to travel in March. If you want I could plan it for a weekend in October. Just let me know! The other thing is..........I need help doing my appeal for my breast reduction. Human denied it saying it was cosmetic. Can you give me any advice on what to put in the appeal letter. I need to get it done ASAP! I would appreciate any assistance you are able to give me. I missed you guys and hopefully my busy life has slowed down somewhat. Talk with you soon!

Topic: Enemies?...after loosing 268 pounds
Hello Everyone! I want to ask if any of you have had any negative dealings with people about your weight loss? Any close family members that you can tell are not pleased with you? I'm trying to learn to not care about what people think, but THAT's easier said than done!!! You would think that people would be shouting with you because of having your life back again...living...being ALIVE!!! I really would like to hear from those of you who could take the time to share your situations with me...I'd be very grateful for any insight. Thanks bunches!!! Love, Cindy

Topic: RE: Still Losing
Still losing and trying hard not to. Luckily it's slowed down considerably. I've heard that it's very common to get a bit under goal and then bounce back up a little. Beth

Is anyone else still losing weight without trying? I am below the 70% weight loss suggested in the beginning and below my original 160 goal. I can eat anything and do. Believe me I am not complaining, just asking.

Topic: New Pics on New Profile.
Hello Everyone! I just got my new profile up and running last night. I posted some new pictures on it and now have five different photo albums: 1-Before WLS; 2-In Hospital; 3-Each month after WLS; 4-Family; 5-Me with my WLS surgeon. I see on some new profiles where their background is glittery and sparkles and inside their text boxes have color. How do you do those extra things? I have read the tutorial paper and don't find the answers. Also, I want to thank all of you who sent me such wonderful words of encouragement last week when I posted about finally entering into ONEderland! God bless each one of you! Love, Cindy 465/197/150

Topic: RE: This may sound gross, but.....
This isn't gross at all--pretty common actually. I was having major problems with this too--I added fresh cold pressed flax oil to my morning shake along with 1 T of benefiber (gritless/tasteless). I also take one stool softener every night (ok with my surgeon as long as no laxatives in it--I buy the generic Target brand) and this keeps me daily/without straining. The straining was causing the bleeding so once I got everything softer and moving regularly, I stopped the bleeding/pain. Sometimes I use A&D ointment to help that area if I need it. Good Luck!
