Topic: Long time no see....not to goal...but expecting!
Hello all...I know things are slow here, as we have all pretty much moved on with our lives, but I just thought I'd update a little I started at 351 pre-op (370 highest wt) and managed to get down to 218 after 16 months....which if I had a TT/lifts I think I'd be quite a bit smaller, as I have a major double panus...but all that is on hold for now, because....at the age of 37, after years and years of infertility, I got pregnant "naturally" in march of this year! We are expecting Mary Eden Lahr on December 10th, and are tickled beyond imagination! Everything is normal up-to this point, including the amniocentesis, and I have another ultrasound on the 17th of Aug. I hope everyones dreams have come true!! ~Christy

After 22 months, I've made it to onederland - my scale read 199.8 this morning. It's been about 15 years since I weighed less than 200 pounds. I continue to feel blessed for the opportunity to have had gastric bypass surgery. It has changed my life and, most importantly, significantly improved my health. Thanks to everyone at OH for their continuing support and encouragement. You've helped me learn and grow over the past few years, and my success is due, in no small part, to my OH family. Hi, Kim. Nice to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the malnourishment issues; hope you are able to resolve that so you can prevent additional issues from cropping up. Sounds like you're super busy, although probably a little bit less now that soccer is over! I'm glad things are going well for you. I'm still losing, but slowly now - maybe 3-5 pounds per month. I'm down 195 pounds, and would like to lose another 20-30 pounds before I have plastic surgery to remove my excess skin. My health is great though, and I'm just loving life. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Kellie Lap RNY 10/25/2005 396/201/170?

Sorry it did not work out with your boyfriend. Sometimes the weight loss success is more than some can bare. But that is ok that is his loss and now you can find someone that will be able to appreciate you. =)
