Dennis, I love the new photo! Lookin' sharp. You're right, this tool is here for you to use for the rest of your life - and if those last 30 lbs never come off, you are still at a reasonably healthy weight, wearing normal sizes, living the quality of life you couldn't even imagine before at a heavier weight. I mean, a size 34 waist, that's terrific! So much to celebrate!! Congratulations to you & thanks for posting your update. Sheryl

Denise - I was down almost another 10 pounds but decided to get an incisional hernia that need to be fixed as an emergency a week ago. This will definitely slow me down but not out. I am in a size 14 dress, I almost fainted because I haven't worn a 14 since high school. I can't really check on my pant size because not only is my bellly sore but I am swollen too. Ahhhh the unexpected little joys in life. Ann

Hey Lisa, Sorry to read about the reflux problems...I've just had some trouble with that myself, but nowhere near as bad as what you are experiencing. I hope you can get some relief soon! And congratulations on the new job; it's keeping you busy, and maybe keeping you from snacking at home. That's a good thing! Plus you're keeping up your commitment to Curves, that is fabulous. And, my dear, the last thing you should do is beat yourself up for losing "only" 132 lbs. For heaven's sake, did you even hear what you said? YOU LOST ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO POUNDS. That's like losing a whole person. You have every reason to be proud of this tremendous achievement. The stress on your joints, your bones, your heart, your lungs, your endocrine system, and on and on...all drastically reduced or eliminated. Your life expectancy has gone up by a huge factor. And those years will be lived in better health than you could ever have hoped for before! Take care of yourself! Sheryl

Laura, your photos are wonderful - what a transformation! Your beautiful face has been revealed. I know what you mean about feeling comfortable sharing photos (and feelings) with this group - everyone here is super supportive. We've all been through, or are going through, what you are experiencing. You look like a million bucks, and your life expectancy is probably 15 or 20 years longer. What better present could you give to yourself and your family & friends? Congratulations to you! Sheryl
