Good idea Marcia!
Before surgery I had a BMI of 57.4 (Super Obese). Now, I have a BMI of 41.3 (Extremely Obese). I have ten more pounds to go before I reach just Obese! Boy, I can't wait to just NOT be the "O" word anymore! I'll get there eventually. I'm on a stall right now and it's driving me nuts! Everyone continues to do great! Happy 4th of July!

Topic: Little Butt?
I had some major WOW moments this past week that I know you can all relate to --
First off, I had to put my watch on the LAST little hole because my wrist is so small now that it was too big on me.
Then someone gave me a beautiful ring for my birthday in size 7 and it was still too big! I've gone from size 10 to 6 and 1/2!
My son and I shared an arm chair at Starbuck's and I couldn't believe that the TWO of us could share ONE chair. That never happened in my life!
A few people at work told me that I was going to have to change careers and become a model because I was so tall and getting so thin. (TALK ABOUT FLATTERED!!!)
And my favorite one: some one told me I had a cute little butt now. NEVER in my life did I think I would hear the words "little" and "butt" together in one sentence about ME!
(I actually put a picture onmy profile of me showing my butt -- with clothes of course! )
I feel so blessed by this surgery. Even though lately things have been rough -- My house is on the market, my divorce should be final in a matter of months and my boys are having a hard time with it.
I feel a lot of sadness but a lot of excitement at the same time. I used to feel like my life was over and now I feel like the possibilities are endless, the future is open wide and my life has just begun!
HUGS,
Vi

The highest I was ever weighed at was 422 (in 1997) and my BMI was 60.5 (Super Obese). (I probably went over that, but finding a scale that went that high was hard!)
When I started my WLS journey I was 345 and my BMI was 49.5.
Today I'm 222 and my BMI is 31.9.
I'm half the person I used to be! Yaaay! I'd like to get down to 190, and then get a tummy tuck and see how close that will leave me to "normal" for my height which is 176, but honestly if I never lost another pound from where I am now, I would still be happy. Compared to where I've been, this is heaven!

I need to get a grip on my caffeine consumption! I was doing so good for a while and now I'm "bingeing" on it again! Thanks for the information! Time for me to wean again!

Yikes, that's scary, thanks for the info. I have gotten out of control with lattes lately and I need to get a grip again!
