I began this at an unhealthy 38.9 BMI with serious health problems and now..I'm holding steady at 24 BMI which is normal

OMG, he is beautiful! Congratulations! I'm so happy to see that everything went well for you and for him. What a miracle and a blessing! When did you ever think you would lose 81 lbs AND have a baby? CONGRATS!!! We need to see more pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gracias Celia! You have always been so sweet to me. I remember meeting you a couple of weeks before our surgery and you always made me feel so good. What a blessing my friends have been -- both the OLD and the NEW ones!

It turned out I was 4 weeks pregnant on my surgery date, but I didn't find out until I was 11 weeks.
I am pleased with 81lbs... although part of me wishes it was more! I still have a ways to go though.
By the way... you look wonderful!

Hello fellow Octoberites...
Just stopping by to let you know that William James was born at 8:23am on June 29.
I had some irregular heart rhythms after the C-section and was sent to ICU for 12 hours, but that cleared up and baby and I are healthy and ready to go home!
There didn't seem to be any surgery related issues at all and baby weighed in at 7lbs 7oz... the biggest of my babies! So it is true that babies take what they need.
I can't figure out how to add a photo to my page just yet... I will have to work on that later, but our family site has pics: http://www.babysites.com/sites/william629/default.asp?page=home&seq=1
Also- I have lost another 17lbs... which brings my total to 81 since surgery!
I am hoping this still keeps me on track. I know I will have to work a little harder to get back into losing mode, but I think it's all worth it in the end!
