Topic: Wedding Date Changed....
Brad and I went to get our marriage license this morning. We live in PA. We were going to get married on the beach at Ocean City, MD on September 23rd. Maryland sent us there paper work, and all we had to do was take it to our courthouse, pay $15 to have them fill it out and then send it back to Maryland with a money order for $35. So it would have cost us $50 for that and they do not do JP weddings in Maryland anymore so we had to pay $200 for a pastor. Well, as she was filling it out, she really wasn't sure what to do, so she called Worcester County Court House in Maryland for help. That lady had no clue either. So instead of just "GUESSING" and maybe not getting our license in time, we decided just to do it in PA. The lady said that the judge does it for FREE in the COURT ROOM which is absolutey beautiful. So we paid her $45 for the license and the wedding is FREE! We saved $205! Anyway after we got the license we went upstairs and made an appointment for the wedding. He does them Monday thru Thursday at 1:15 pm or 4:15 pm. We chose September 21st ( Thursday ) at 4:15 PM. That way the next day we can still leave for Ocean City, MD as planned and just have our honey moon at the beach. I am actually a lot less stressed about everything now. Brad was in such a good mood and happy. I am wired up now...lol. I need to go for a run now...lol. Erin

Topic: 9 months post - at goal!
Yesterday was 9 months and I met my goal! I have lost 121 lbs. and weigh 130 lbs. I haven't been able to exercise for the past 2 weeks, because of my bowel ob. surgery, so I am so surprised. I went to the surgeon for a check up from the emergency surgery (I wasn't supposed to see him again until 1 year out), he was really happy with my progress. He said there are people that start out at 400 lbs. and don't do as well as me in 9 mo. My husband had his 3 month check up at that time and has lost 76 lbs. That's crazy! He is looking really good. Oh, one more thing. I am starting a temp job next week and had to get a pair of pants, since I only have two others that I can wear to work. I bought a size 4! I also got my first pair of Victoria Secret panties yesterday. They are really cute. I put a new pic on the bottom of my profile if you want to see. Take Care! Marcia

Topic: Weekly exercise recap
Okay, not getting many (any!) responses to the daily exercise reminders, so am trying a weekly check-in. I really found this helpful when Keke was doing it, so hope folks don't mind even if I'm the only one that posts here. It's helps keep me accountable to myself. Anyway, here's my activities for the week: Monday: 45 minutes elliptical trainer Tuesday: 35 minutes elliptical trainer, 45 minutes water aerobics Wednesday: nothing Thursday: 45 minutes elliptical trainer Friday: will do 45 minutes elliptical trainer after work Saturday: cleaning my basement - we've had so much rain tha****er seeped in around my foundation, so I need to move things, clean up, take out old, wet carpetting, etc. Let me know whether you moved this week to lose!!! Topic: RE: GALL BLADDER SURGERY(VERY SORE)
I still have my gallbladder, but my roommate had hers removed laposcopically a few years ago. She was pretty sore for 3-4 days, but then it got much better pretty quick. Her recovery time from the gallbladder surgery was much faster than my recovery from lap RNY! I hope you feel better soon - {{{{{hugs}}}}} Kellie
