Please be forwarned, they are not pretty!

I know what you're going through! It will pass (eventually). Or just try not to overindulge on the craving. I've been battling the same thing as well. We can get through this. Take care and good luck!

Topic: A post follow up
Hi all and thanks for answering my post yesterday. I do need to get a handle on this head hunger and more importantly my lack of control. I stronglu believed that just because I deciede to have this surger it didn't mean that the rest of the family couldn't have their favorites around. I am not so sure today. But I did make the time today to make protien bars that next time I'll make into balls instead of bars. I tasted them they are awesome and I also made Carbquick pizza for the week to eat. Hopefully this will bring on my self control as I will have the good things around to choose. thanks Ann
Topic: RE: Bathing suit
Way to go, that had to feel great. I on the other hand will never be in a two piece but I wore a size 12 this year with one of those little things you tie around the but. Its the first time in my life I didn't wear an old lady bathing suit.
Good luck and congratulations.

Yea marcey I am also effected. My mind just won't catch up. I always knew I was a little slow. I started in 28 jeans and now can wear a 12. My family fussed at me because they are new and they are baggy. I never would try anything on and I still don't. I bring the stuff home and if I don't like it I take it back. I hope someday this old moster from my past will soon go away.
Congrats to everyone

Thanks erin that is really sweet. My 9th aniversary is in octobery along with my 1year surgery. I want to do something really cool, like a cruise.I know your wedding will be great. I would love to have done a beautiful dress. I have never even been in a wedding dress. I got married in a suit but it was the best day ever. Good luck. You look wonderful

Hi Ann~
I can totally relate with the "need" for sweets! I wish I would have never ever re-introduced them back into my diet!! I brought this up to my doctor on Wednesday and he said it's okay to have a bite of something so you don't feel like you're denying yourself. He said if I deny myself that, that I will only want it more and then in turn eat more of it. Yesterday, I made a big batch of the protein balls and put them in the freezer..I find those help take the edge off if I want something sweet. I also buy the little snack packs of trail mix that helps with the sugar and salt cravings. Also, something that has worked for me in the past and still does is peppermint (s/f mints, tea, gum)..something about it just doesn't make me want to eat the sweet stuff! Don't know if any of this will help you or not??
Take Care!

Topic: RE: how much have u lost?
HI all!
My highest was over 280 (don't know how much higher)
Think I was 270-ish on the dr's scale, lost 14 before surgery...
Currently 145. Down 135 from known highest
Dr has told me to start eating more to "slow down"...doesn't want me any lower than 135-140
