So far this morning I've had a 9.5 oz bottle of Starbucks Frappuccino- 180 calories and a whopping 31g sugar!
It's taken me since 7 to drink it (it's 9:30 now), but good grief, that sugar! I have no idea what food today will have in it, but I guess I'll try to have something a little healthier than coffee!

Vickie,
I am laughing about this, this morning. I was getting on-line to post about my eating habits and I find your post. We had a carnival across from our house this weekend, there wasn't any "HEALTH CONSCIOUS" food there what-so-ever. I have been eating and eating for about 2 weeks. Either from stress because of the short term visitor at my house that has become long term, the wedding, or just out of plain boredom at work. I came to work this morning telling myself that I need to go on a strict diet this week and get my pouch back to normal again.
I can eat anything, and it scares me half to death. So I got on fit day this morning, put in what I had already and decided to make good decisions on my food choices this week.
I have a pitcher of ho****er for green tea ( when I get cravings I need to just drink that ) and gum to keep me from snacking. I made some hard boiled eggs for protein and I have plenty of water ready. I also have it planned that after my chores each night, I am going to do yard work and walk the dogs. Instead of sitting on my rump, eating!
So what do you say guys and gals say, lets get moving and help each other out. Lets post our foods and calories. We need to work together and get back on track!
LOVE YAH ALL,
Erin

Thanks for sharing your experience with me! I'm glad to hear you're doing much better. I'll be glad when it's all over and I'm on the mend. I'm a big whimp when it comes to feeling bad. Hope my surgeon has my pain med prescription ready!

Topic: Typical menu...
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to get some idea of what you guys eat on a daily basis. My weight loss seems to just go in spurts now.......
here's what I eat..
breakfast - 1/2 - 3/4 cup cottage cheese with 1 tbsp. of simply fruit spread plus 2 cups of coffee
lunch - salad with chicken and veggies and low-carb dressing or Sub-way low-carb wrap (can eat about 1/2 - 3/4).
snack - 1 piece of fruit
dinner - varies, but I try to focus on meat and veggies and maybe 1-2 bites of potato or rice
I drink about 56 oz. of water typically
Night time is difficult since I seem to feel hungry. I try to eat a yogurt or sugar-free pudding/fudgsicle, but sometimes I eat both..........
thanks for your help!

Topic: RE: Hernia Surgery
Hi Peggy,
I just had hernia surgery on July 12th! I had an extremely large hernia in my lower abdomen from a previous c-section. The doctor told me at the initial appt. that it was very large. Then, he told me after the surgery that it was larger than he expected. Anyways, the pain was bad for about the first week, then it was ok. I did have some complications, but I'm feeling better these days. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you! I had an open RNY and an open surgery for my hernia repair and I would say the pain was similar just different location. I also had mesh. My pants do fit better and I went down one size. Mine also didn't really hurt, just stuck out like crazy and put pressure on my back! Good luck to you and keep us posted! We'll keep you in our prayers!
