The NY NY can not accomodate us. The reservation specialist suggested that I contact Treasure Island with is one of their sister properties. The Luxor, Bellagio, MGM, Mandalay (full), Circus Circus (not an option), Excalibur, are also their sister properties. So, my question becomes where do you want me to check next. I was going to look into Treasure Island, Excalibur and the Luxor. I'm open to all suggestions. Talk with you later. Keke

My gosh, this has been a roller coaster for you! What a horrible set of complications you had to deal with. But I hope that, with your lower weight, your health is improved and your risk for further heart problems is diminished. As for size, I don't think I'm smaller...just shaped differently. I can't seem to lose the belly flab, I'm sure it's from being so overweight, and having twins at that weight, my tummy is so stretched it just can't bounce back. So my upper body is probably smaller than before, but lower body proportionately larger than before, at the same weight. I'll never lose this tummy without plastic surgery, and I'm just not ready for that. I'm about 5' 10", so at my present weight of about 175, I'm wearing mostly size 16. Some XLs are too large; some Ls are too small. Sheryl

Keke, I'm really looking forward to this! Thanks for working to pull it together. I wonder if any of our sisters and brothers with neighboring surgery dates (like Sept 2005 and Nov 2005) would want to join us? We all are at about the same place in our journey, and it might be fun with a larger group. I've got the dates marked on my calendar! Sheryl

Yup! When I met my husband in October of 83, I was in a size 12 and weighed 145 which is less than I weigh now. I just purchased three pair of size 8 pants the other day. Think the smaller sizes are gradually getting a little bigger over time??? Hm... Glad you asked the question, 'cause I was wondering if it was just me or others too! Peggy B.

Hey, Keke!!! It's gonna be okay, friend! I don't always stay focused, that's why I don't lose as fast anymore. It is getting harder the closer to my goal I get. And one problem I have is that a big part of me is happy where I'm at. I can wear some size 8's in pants now, a single digit size I've never been in. Another problem is that I haven't been able to do any exercising for the past three weeks since hernia surgery and I'm not allowed to for another three weeks. I can walk now though and I started that yesterday. It's hard getting back into a walking routine! I do plan on going to water aerobics as soon as I get my doctor's release in hand. So see, you're definitely not alone! Peggy B.

The dates for the Vegas Reunion will be March 20-23, 2007. It is cheaper for us to be there during the week rather than the weekend. The hotel I've chosen is the New York, New York. I'm waiting for them to get back wtih me concerning a group rate. I'm pushing for $89 but we may end up with $129 and that's better than most of the rates I've seen (so let's keep our fingers crossed)! Once we establish a hotel, then we'll plan our activities. I figured we could meet for a late dinner Tuesday night or just have a breakfast/brunch together Wednesday morning. Take care! Talk with you later. Keke
