HI all, Pre-op was 361 now 253 ultimate goal 175ish but would be very happy under 200 So I have lost 108 and have 53 to go to get to happy goal or 78 to go to reach thrilled I get all my viatimins and my 6 month labs came back perfect. My chol. is still 9 points above normal but since surgery it has dropped 103 points -- so I am thrilled. I get in between 60-80 oz of water a day I eat 3 meals breakfast - protien shake lunch - tuna - chili -chicken etc dinner same as lunch but with a little veggie I always stay at the 4 oz point. i am allowed more by now but I am still not hungry and figure if I am happy at 4 oz why eat more. I dumped at Christmas on egg nog. I know bad but I wanted to know what amount of sugar I could handle. Well apparently 20 grams per hour is my limit. I know that is alot though and haven't done it since so I just stay away from sugar. I still can't eat hamburger meat in pattie or meat ball form. but can in chili or spaghetti sauce Also bread , even 1 bite, sits like a rock . I stick to crackers every once in awhile. Complications I have had. ( if you can even call them that they are minor) severe constipation requiring lax. 2x a week ( dr. working on helping this) kidney stones Thats me thanks for posting this, Jennifer

Started out at 392 lastweek I was 264 (today 272 ) I drink 4 protien shakes a day lunch is 1/2 of a lean cruisien tv dinner. supper is ususly soup or beans and cheese. Snacks are anything and everything I can get my hands on. I seem to be totaly out of control. I do not buy the stuff but I seem to have no control at work and at parties. I am exercising a lot so that is helping. I do water arobics 2 a week. and walk 4 times a week. Deb 392/264-272/???

Well I started at 255 am down to 165 with a goal of 150. I can also eat anything without any problem. Breakfast either an egg cooked different ways or 3 oz of healthy cereal Lunch usually left overs from dinner Dinner usually a meat a veggie and a starch I eat the starch last if there is room I don't measure I have figured out my body signs of being full. I am not eating anything special just small amounts of what I do eat. Getting in all my vitamins I'm still only getting about 48 oz of liquids trying to up that. Exersize at curves 3-4 days a week plus chase a 2 year old around the rest of the time. I went from wearing a size 22-24 to a size 10-12 and feeling great. Marcey 255/165/150

I love reading everyone's check in. I makes me feel 'normal' or as close as I'm ever going to get LOL! weight 378/283/200(my goal. my surgeon doesn't give goal's. If I never lose another pound I'll still be happy where I'm at, living again!) I can eat just about anything. Dairy gives me 'killer' gas so I try to avoid it. My pouch friend doesn't do real well on eggs or rice. Everything else goes down fine. Sugar makes me dump, natural or man made so I have to watch both which is why I chose this surgery anyway. I start my day off with Quakers weight control oatmeal & a cup of matrix hot choc. I have about 1/4-1/2 c of chicken salad for lunch. I eat it with about 6 pretzels. I have to eat at my desk at work & to do so we can't use fork or spoons but if I use pretzels it's a dip & not a meal. geesh. Dinner is anything I just make sure my protein goes first then veggie or salad. I do snack on jerky, fruit. I can eat a happy meal, kind of, the burger & bottom bun but then I'm full. If SF popcicles were crack I'd be in trouble.

Core everyday lower 2x and was just release to start back on my upper 2x a week. My body revolted against the excersise and I had to get shots in both elbows about 5 weeks ago.

Hi Everyone, I started at 389 the day of surgery and I weigh 291 today. I'm a little frustrated at the moment because I have been going up and down with 2-3 pounds over the last few weeks. I need some inspiration. My goal weight is 180. I eat 3 meals a day and only one snack in the evening. For breakfast I eat 3/4 cup of low-fat cottage cheese with a tablespoon of simply fruit. For lunch it varies since I work out of my car, but usually tuna salad in a red pepper or south beach chicken wrap or turkey w/cheese in a wheat tortilla. Dinner varies, but I stay away from pasta and rice. I try to focus on meat, veggies and 2-3 tablespoons of a carb. My evening snack is usually fruit or sf fudgesicle. I dump on high sugar and fatty foods. I drink at least 72 oz. of liquids/day. Good luck to you all! Everyone is doing so great! Megen

Hey Dennis, Thanks for the update post. i have enjoyed seeing everyone's wonderful progress! I started at 260, current weight is 176, my first goal is 160, so I'm just 16 pounds away. I feel like I will never get there! I have gone from Size 26W to 14's, from 3 & 4 XL to L & XL. I've lost over 80 inches. There's still a lot I can't eat, pasta other than spaghetti, bread unless it's toasted really well, tortilla's, some cuts of meat, including hamburger meat in a pattie, meat loaf, etc. I also don't do real well on chicken unless it's very very moist! Lunch meat will gag me in a heartbeat! Milk gives me instant, & I mean instant diarrhea! Now as for everything else, I do pretty well as long as I go slowly. I can even stop about a quarter of the way in and wait a few minutes and eat more. I think I eat a lot some days & other times not enough. I still get hung up on things if I go to fast & I end up throwing up. I usually get in vits, 30 oz of hot tea & either cheese or half a frozen omelette for breakfast. Few bites of salad, taco, shrimp ****tail or soup for lunch. Dinner is veggies, salad or whatever. I try to stay with snacks of almonds, prunes, beef jerky, lowfat cheese, grapes or cantaloupe. I do dump, but not unless I eat a pretty good amount of sugar. However, I do dump on fatty foods. I dumped really late stage on an avocado the other day. I have dumped on Ranch dressing twice before I figured out what did it! I don't get in a whole lot of exercise, but try to get to the elliptical and walk as much as I can. I am fighting demons, salt is my biggest and beer is the second! I am working on both of them though, so I know that I can conquer that! Good luck to everyone!! hugz, Gina L 260/176/160
