Who Had WOW Moments This Week?

Just for grins I pulled out the jeans I wore the day before my surgery. I pulled them on & couldn't believe how huge they looked. Then I slipped both legs into one leg. I thought I was going to cry, because I really never thought I looked that big. I actually wore shorts & a sleeveless shirt out this weekend, something I would have never done before! I saw a friend that I had not seen in about 5 months & she freaked out! She could not believe how different I looked. She said I looked so healthy. That made my day! I also sat around with some co-workers of my husbands & commented later to my hubby that Mickey's wife was downright rude to me. Later in the afternoon, she came over to me & said "Oh my God, I did not recognize you until I saw you with your arm around Bill! You Look Great!" I didn't think I looked that different, but it's been a long time since I saw her! Love seeing everyone's Wow moments! Everyday is a Wow for me!!! Hugz, Gina L 260/180/160?? 26W/14/16's

Thats great, good going! My wow this weekend was when i took my kids to six flags great adventure for my daughters 11 birthday. I was able to ride all the baby rides with my two little guys, the seat belts fit around us and the airplanes went all the way up!!!! I also had to be measured to get on Kingda Ka LOL I guess loosing the weight has made me look shorter too lol....I sat in the seat AND HAD ROOM to breath. It was a great weekend. LisaMarie

That's great Gina! I had the same thing happen- yesterday I was getting a bunch of clothes together to sell on E-Bay. I took out a pair of capri jeans (size 24) that were way too tight last summer, and I put them on. They weren't just baggy- THEY COMPLETELY DROPPED TO THE FLOOR...... It was the greatest feeling! My other WOW moment was that I bought a 2-piece bathing suit this weekend that actually looks good on me. It's NOT a bikini- my tummy is still covered, but I never would have dreamed of wearing that before my surgery! Keep up the great work! Jessica

Hi Gina, i have had a big wow...........my niece gave me some size 13 jeans capris.....im like i will keep them till i get in that size,well when i got home i thought i will try them on,WELL THEY FIT!!!! I was in 24 before surgery... I just can't get over it...........i love wows also............vickie r.

Great WOW moments Gina. Congratulations on your success! I had a nice WOW the other day. One of the guys I work with hasn't seen me in a few months, due to opposing schedules. He came into my office and didn't recognize me at first! He thought we had a new dispatcher until I turned around and said hello. It was pretty funny, and a truly great feeling. Carol

I purchased a size 22 Chinos capri pants at the avenue because the were on sale and I thought I could wear them one day. Well After I got home I decided to try them on just for kicks of course. Low and behold I was able to get both legs & thighs in them, pull them all the way up, zip & button them. Before surgery I was wearing a 32/34. I am a slow loser but so far I have lost 75LBS pounds. I was happy to say the least. I have not worn a size 22 anything since 1995. )
