6 month check up today YEA YEA YEA

6 month check up all is well. Down 100 lbs hard to believe. To celebrate I went shopping for the first time. I have a very good friend who has given me clothes. I started in a size 28 pair of jeans. Tonight I stood in one leg my daughter in the other and we zipped the pants. Great wow moment. I bought size 16 shorts and large shirts. I even bought a new night gown. I feel so good. There is a conference here in Kentucky in October so I am planning on going to that to celebrated my 1 year anniversary. My labs were all normal. My iron was on the low side but he said I should start B-12 anyway. My profile has been spruced up thanks to my niece who is very smart. And she is having gastric bypass on May 10th so keep her in your prayers. Thanks for every ones encouragement and make sure everyone post their check ups. We should all be so proud. I wonder as a group what we all have lost total on 6 mth check up. Jane 296/194/150 goal

Hi! Congratulations on your good work!!! I had my 6 month checkup 2 weeks ago, and all was well. Labs and vitamin levels and albumin (protein) were good. I've been taking sublingual B 12 ever since surgery. My sizes are very much like yours, and since it's almost swim weather here, I just bought a size 16 swimsuit for the first time EVER. I won't win any beauty contests, having extra skin on arms and lots on the legs, but I don't care! I lost some weight before surgery, but am down a total of 102 pounds. It doesn't hurt to exercise any more! I'm betting that we Octoberites are all feeling a LOT better, and losing lots of weight! Do post results so we all can rejoice. This is an incredible journey!!! Thanks Vickie that would be great. I am excited about going. My husband and I are going. He has been such a great support, I know he would rather do something else but he is going just for me.
