So proud of you Dennis! I knew it would work!! I weighed in at 182 this morning, which is down another pound. I did lots of liquids yesterday (unfortunately about 24 oz. of it was Lite Beer!) I did Turkey Pastrami for my snack in the morning & low fat cheese & also more cheese & Roasted peanuts in the afternoon. I ate cantaloupe (imagine that) for lunch yesterday. For dinner I ate a very small amount of Caldo De Res soup. Got a little bit of the meat hung & it was over for me! This morning I have had 3 pieces of bacon, 40 ounces of hot tea & all my vitamins. But I'm going to join friends for Mexican food at lunch, so the carb monster will be there!! I may do taco salad without the shell! Keep up the good work & thanks for the support Dennis!! Hugz, Gina L (with a new face)

I just read your profile and you and I have lost exactly the same amount of weight, I had my surgery a week before you did. I have been going through the same stalls as you have and am hoping the best on this plateau buster diet. Good luck, Gail

NOT THAT I WOULD EVER WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH THESE SEEMINGLY UNENDING STALLS, BUT IT DOES FEEL "GOOD" THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE. I POST ON ANOTHER BOARD & IN THE LAST COUPLE DAYS, THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY WHO HAVE EITHER LOST 100 #s OR HIT ONDERLAND ... &, I JUST HAVE MY CHIN ON THE FLOOR. NOT GIVING UP ... YEP, I'M GONNA STICK WITH THE PLATEAU BUSTER EATING PLAN AS WELL. HOPE YOU READ MY PROFILE AFTER I REMOVED MY WHINING & COMPLAINING ENTRY ... SORRY IF YOU READ IT ... WAS FEELING R-E-A-L SORRY FOR MYSELF. GOD BLESS YOU & KEEP POSTING YOUR PROGRESS!!!!!!!!! DAWN & NICK

Dawn...come on girl the happy ...sometimes it takes 2-3 days to have this plan kick in...you will do it...read my post...as far as numbers go I am an oldie but a goodie......and I think my age is a factor as metabolism is slower ...as long as this scale keeps going down...hey......can't beat that...also my doctor said between 12-18 months.... so I have lost 60Percent of my weight in less then 6 months...come on Dawn you can do this.... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, MR DENNIS ... YUP, I'M OLDER AS WELL, BUT MY DOCTOR HAS BEEN PUSHING THE 6 MONTH THING ... 100 #s BY 6 MONTHS OR IT GETS REALLY, REALLY HARD, HE SAYS. WELL, IT'S BEEN A BEAR FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS ... I STARTED MAJOR STALLS BY MY 12th WEEK & THEY HAVEN'T QUIT SOOOOOOOOOOO I'M JUST A LITTLE WEARY RIGHT NOW AS I'M IN WEEK 21-22. I DID REALLY, REALLY GOOD THE 1st 12 WEEKS, THEN IT'S FELT LIKE THE STRUGGLES I USED TO GO THROUGH PRE-SURGERY SO I JUST WASN'T EXPECTING THE STRUGGLES TO COME SO QUICKLY & FOR SO LONG. I KNOW IT WILL BUST WIDE OPEN SOON & OFF I'LL GO AGAIN LOSING REGULARLY. I'VE LOST 47% OF MY SURGEON'S GOAL & 43% OF MY IDEAL GOAL WEIGHT. I'M NOT GIVING UP ... I'M STICKING WITH THIS EATING PLAN & WITH THE WHOLE WLS THING AFTER THAT. I'LL BE DOING THE HAPPY DANCE BY TOMORROW FOR SURE. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE PEP TALK!!!! GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK
