Daily calories and exercise
Some weeks, it seems the more I exercise, the less I lose! I usually get between 800-1000 calories per day, 60-80 grams of protein and at least 64 oz. of water, usually more. When I workout, I usually spend 40 minutes doing cardio (elliptical trainer and/or recumbent bike) and the machines will indicate that I've burned between 350-450 calories. On some days, I do 30 minutes of cardio and lift weights for upper and lower body.
Am trying to figure out whether I may actually lose better if I increase my calories by 100-200 calories (from protein) on the days when I work out. Would appreciate any thoughts or insight that you can offer. Thanks.

Kellie,
You are doing an awesome job with you eating, drinking and excercise. Keep up the good work.
I know for myself, if I drop below 1000 calories/day, it is a certain stall on my weight. Once in a great while, I can get 1100 in. I stopped concerning myself with getting too many calories (since I figured out that eating to little made me plateau), but I concentrate on high protein, low carbs and fat. And when my weight loss slows, I increase my work out to get things going again.
Even with doing everything 100% right, there will be periods when we stop losing for awhile, while our bodies catch up.
Keep up the good work. Your body is appreciating it!
