With all of our STALLING on the scales lately I think we need some positive energy to remind us of why we did this... I think everyone should write down at least one major thing that has happened since surgery that has been either a WOW moment or just a general holy crap I cant believe I can do that now! Ill give you a couple to start... 1. Running ... yes thats right running on the treadmill at the gym! Before surgery for me to run there better have been a guy behind me with a gun chasing me. 2. Shaving my legs in the shower without any kind of pain, or without having to contort my body into some funky pretzel shape. 3. Shopping all day without resting or feeling like im going to die! Ok there are a few... I'd love to hear other peoples so we can boost our spirits a little! Jenn

being able to fit into my 16 yr olds clothes and have them be to big this surgery has braught me and the kids closer because we all work out together and turn it into compititions as to who can do more lol Kim

being able to get into my moms size 16 jeans. They were tight but I did get them buttoned and zipped!! That was great!! But the best is being able to walk without getting out of breath. Playing in the floor with my kids. Take care everyone Hugs Mary

Well for me I haven't really had a major stall that bothered me but I do lose slowly. My wow moments 1. Playing with my daughter at the park and being able to slide with her. 2. Shopping in regular size departments. 3. And just all around feeling better. Marcey 255/180/150

Jenn - Good to see you! Saw your profile, lookin' good! As for my positives... 1. Running also. I have actually jogged on the treadmill! It wasn't for very long, but it still counts! 2. Crossing my legs without having to tug my foot up over my knee! 3. Getting on the floor and playing trains with my sons! Before I could only be there for about 2 minutes before my knees or back would start to hurt! Thanks for getting me to think about the positives! Mary

1. My clothes are soooo loose, and they keep getting looser even though the scale hasn't budged 2. Everywhere I go I'm getting compliments like crazy on how great I look. People are truly amazed at the difference. Last week I was wearing a new outfit that I never could've worn before wls, and a woman stopped me in the sore to tell me how much she loved it. That was very cool. 3. I have self confidence now that I never had before. Even my coworkers have noticed it. 4. My family is very happy that I don't look sick at all. They were worried about that before I had my wls, but I've had no problems at all. This is definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. Even if the scale refuses to budge. Carol

Jenn, You are such a ray of sunshine here! I'm so glad you joined the board and btw, you have a beautiful smile! Here's my 3 things: 1. I can cross my legs. 2. I went shopping at New York & Co 2 weeks ago and bought regular sizes that FIT,on clearance and only paid $35 for 4 pairs of NICE QUALITY slacks and 4 tops. I used to spend $35 on ONE pair of pants at the Avenue that would pill in the wash after a few uses! 3. Last Thursday I bumped into a guy that I had a class with last year and he told me I was "skinny" (NOT!!) and "beautiful". That made my Day! 4. For the first time in my life, I DO feel beautiful and worthy and like I deserve more and won't settle ever again!! And I still want to lose another 65 lbs... can't wait to see what I feel like 50 lbs from now! Vi
