OH THANK GOD!!
Thank god I have found you guys! I started this journey going on the cali boards and then had surgery... lost tons of weight... stopped looking at this site... and just went about life. Well something brought me back... A BIG HUGE PLATEU! So I naturally found my way back to the cali boards and posted about my problem. Well the refered me here because they said that everyone on my surgery date site would be having the same problem. THANK GOD I FOUND YOU GUYS. I read your posts and am feeling so much better already. We are all going through it. I had surgery on 10/7/05 and have lost 97 pounds so that is nothing to complain about but for 3 weeks I have lost and gained the same 3 pounds. I WAS GOING NUTS! But now I am feeling relieved. So my promise to you guys is to be here more to support you and get support for myself and also to continue working hard at loosing! I think I might try that plateu buster that someone posted about (the ten day thing) If anyone comes up with something else that works let me know!

Welcome to the October Peeps...we are a great group of people and support each other 
, through thick and thin...I have been playing with the same few pounds for about 3 weeks also...but know I am shrinking...so you have to give it time...yea ba humbug...but you will do it...97 pounds...you are doing great...it takes about one year to 18 months, I have been told to get it all off...Please god

You are looking fabulous! I read through your profile and think your pictures are amazing. Congrats on your engagement--keep up the good work! I think all of us have wrestled with the same pounds off and on, I usually just shrug 
and consider it a stall for a bit. I hope you're taking your measurements as well as your weight so you see that the lbs number isn't always the best way to see that YOU ARE SHRINKING!!! Isn't that just the best feeling ever?

Just remember your pre-op days----If someone had asked you if you would LOVE to drop 97 lbs in 5 months, wouldn't you have walked to the ends of the earth to make it happen? Don't forget how far you've come and how fast you're melting away...faster than you would have ever thought possible before! Give youreself credit....

I am glad you got the advice of being sent back to these boards. I too stopped coming to the Oct boards after surgery. WHo better to talk to than the ones who had surgery the same time as us. Duh
