How close are YOU?
Deb what a great way of looking at it...it does sound soo much better...I started at 285 and want to lose 100 pounds...lower if I can...but for now...100 is fine...so I have lost 60% of my weight...., ... , another 40 pounds and I am at goal...please above....I understand it take between 12-18 months to get to goal...the less you have to lose...the slower it will be...so we are all doing great , and lets not worry about the numbers...but like Deb says how good we are feeling...I can climb a mountains now... 285/225/185...lower if I can...but will take the 100 pounds...so that is 60percent gone forever......
I am so glad you did the math...it sounds so much better this way..., the happy wls surgery ...on the TV progam the biggest loser, they do it the same way you are doing it...it is unreal really how much we have lost...thanks Deb for doing this...you are an Dennis 285/225/185 . we can do this...yes we can October peeps...
I definitely have felt like I have been a slow loser compared to all my local friends who had surgery when I did. I started this thing out at 262, I am now 188 (lost 74 pounds), and my doctor wants me at 160 (although I think 140 is a better goal). So to my doctor's goal I am 73% there, and then for my goal, I am 61% of the way there. Looking at the numbers this way definitely does make me feel better!

I've lost 100lbs which leaves me with 108 to get to goal.
It also totals 26.4% of my total body weight lost and 48% of my excess weight. I need figures like that to keep me from getting discouraged during these long stalls.

Hi Deb,
Thanks for doing this. Sorry I'm a little late. But I would ideally like to lose 209 pounds. I've lost 86 thus far so I've lost 41% of my excess weight. I feel that's a little on the low side, but I've never lost this much weight in my life and I'm three pounds away from the two hundreds! Yea!!! I'm also 5'9". Everyone is doing so great!
