Hello, I weighed this morning and I'm down 80 pounds since surgery. I lost two pounds this week and three the week before. Is this the normal weekly loss at 4.5 months out? I thought it would be a little faster, but it seems to definitely have slowed down. I have been focusing more on protein these past few weeks and keeping my calories at 1200 or less. I know everyone is different, but just not sure. Thanks! Megen 389/309/180?

One week I lost 6 lbs. and last week I lost 4 lbs., but every other week I have lost 2-3 lbs. That's a good steady pace. Marcia 251/176/130

We are about at the same place. In the begining I thought I was slower than most but I think it all adverages out in the end and it seems everyone is about in the same spot. Good luck on your journey, Jennifer 357/275/175 82 pounds down and ""Only 100 pounds from goal!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I feel more at ease knowing that everyone is pretty much in the same boat. I just miss those big losses at the beginning. Boy that was nice......... in the end, I know it will come off. Isn't it funny how it seems to go on so easily??? Good luck to you all and thanks again!!! Megen

I'm with everyone else, this is totally normal... I'll lose a few pounds and then nothing for a few weeks. Sometimes it takes me 3 weeks to lose one pound and then I'll have a month like last month where I lost 18! I think this month is going to be one of those 3 lb months though! It'll catch up eventually! Vi
