Broke the Plateau from HELL!!!!

Sure enough, i got on the scales for my Monday weigh-in which has been at 189.9 for a month and a half & I was at 188.2!! This morning I got on again, which I try not to make a habit of, but I am down to 185.6!!! I am so excited!! I think I know what the difference is though, more calories. Maybe my body finally thinks it is getting enough nourishment & is actually got some fuel to "burn" (???) I'm not hungry & I'm having to "push" the food every few hours. I even added some higher protein snacks in as well. Hey, whatever works & apparently this has!!! Hugz yall, Gina L 260/185/160 26W/16/18's

Just nuts, beef jerky (I am addicted to the Jack Links peppered nuggets) & cheese. I have also been buying the ready made chicken & tuna salad from the deli & eating it with wheat thins. I have also been trying to make sure I eat in the mornings, because I wasn't doing that. I got some of the pre-cooked bacon, pop a couple in the microwave here at work & bring a boiled egg as well (more protein). This may sound stupid too, but maybe it's calories (I know empty ones!!! NO FLAMING) but I have been drinking a small glass of white wine at bedtime for the past week or so. Gina L

I have been on a plateau from HELL for about a month...the same damm poun up and down...what did you do? I am trying high protein...no carbs...what will work? Dennis

Hi, I'm mostly a lurker, but I came here today looking for this exact topic. I have been on a stall for about 6 weeks! I'm starting to get scared my weight loss is over. I'm trying to up my protein and my instinct tells me to stop eating so much, but that was my old way of thinking, I actually probably need to eat more. I don't eat anything in the mornings, my tummy just doesn't "feel right" until about noon. I'm glad your stall is over. I hope mine is soon.
